Selling my NSX.....

:frown: I have been struggling with the idea for the last couple of weeks but one of the toughest decisions I ever had to make, might be one of the best decisions I ever made..Long story short, I'm looking to purchase a second home..selling my X would relieve of two car payments by paying off the 4Runner also... I wish there was a way to keep my favorite car, but it is a sacrifice that I must make :frown: Hopefully in 1-2 years the new home will have enough equity so that I can buy my NSX back and a new HSC :biggrin: either way I will have another one soon!!! I'm in no real hurry to sell it, since the site I'm looking at is still under construction and probably won't be ready to close till summer, so hopefully she'll be around for a little while longer..I'm going to post it here on Prime, then in Autotrader in the next few weeks...Even after it is gone, I'll still be posting and keeping in touch and bumming rides on the O/P runs :tongueBTW, Ortega is now open again :biggrin: ) sniff, sniff...I smell an O/P Run soon!!!

You just got the wheels. Sell those and keep the car for 3 more months.
Or sell one of the "N's" in your last name...it sounds the same (Quin)
anyway and looks exotic on a nametag lanyard!!!!

Well, I'm sure you'll find a good buyer and the time will go by quickly

Sorry to hear that you will be parting with your beloved NSX.. I have really enjoyed having mine in my life.. I still remember the day that I picked it up and drove it home.. I must've went to the garage 10 times that night to make sure that it was there.. :smile:

I hope that you don't mind but your timing is uncanny.

I don't want to hijack your thread but instead of starting a new one, I thought that this was right on topic to announce that I have decided that I will be selling my NSX soon as well.

My fiancee and I are planning on getting married in about a year and with a new home in the future, this is the best move for the financial security for the both of us..

I would still like to be involved on the site and "will" have another NSX (maybe HSC) one day. You guys are the best!

Definitely one of the hardest decisions in my life.

I HATE the thought of not having an X sitting in my garage ready to go at a moments notice or just plain sitting pretty...but it's not like she'll be gone tomorrow, at least I hope not So lets get an O/P Run going soon!!! and yes I will be back in the saddle soon, if things go well it'll be a 97+ silver :biggrin: in less then two years, but I'll settle for any ol' NSX if need be or even an HSC In the mean time I'll steal my ol'lady's 5 series for O/P Runs...who knows I might not even go through with the deal and end up keeping my 91 X...

I hope you end up keeping the car. At the price point of a 91, not sure if it'll make a dent on your down payment of houses in SoCal.

If you do end up selling it, at least you can still have a 5 to take to autocrosses.

Good luck on whatever you end up doing with the car!

I know it must have been a tough decision.
Think about holding on until NSXPO in Phoenix.

After you sell, if you show up for an O/P run in the 4Runner get behind me.
