Seattle Karting Experience - Feb 11th

Enough talk! It's time to take a hit from the "Go Fast Crack Pipe"!

I am gathering a group of people together to take a few karting runs at Traxx Racing in Mukileo. And then a nice steak dinner and drinks at John's Grill afterwards to trade war stories. Then we'll see what happens afterwards (Beltown, anyone?)

We need to have 6 people to get the group discount rate for $12 per run. This equates to about 20 laps per session. And Mukilteo features a ramp and a tunnel to give the experienced driver more to think about.

Unless people want a different place to meet, there is an abandoned restaraunt in Factoria, Bellevue with open parking to fit everyone. It is on the SouthEast corner of the Mall parking lot.

We'll meet there at 4pm and leave at 4:30pm.

Excellent... I don't know this track too well, so I'll be pretty slow too. But, you have to floor it on the ramp and try to catch some air, Dukes stylz!

And my sister is pretty quick in a kart. She just got hooked on autocrossing in her WRX last year, and getting better and better. (not as good as me, of course :P )

FYI Karts suck at the track, but the track is fun. Also if you sweet talk to the track workers there and let him know you drive a nice car, he usually will tell you which one is the best one out there...:wink:

I don't care about the kart, as I have the unfair advantage of visiting there numerous times...:biggrin:
 
Good stuff... now I have my excuses in advance! I haven't been to the Mukilteo track in awhile and thought it would be good to try a new place. Maybe Sy-Kart will be better the next time around.

When the weather starts getting better we should do a BBQ and drive. (And I would love to navigate for a fellow NSX driver!)
 
Sounds like a blast! I have a conference that weekend, so I'll be sitting this one out...unless I can figure out how to get out early.

You guys still doing this? I'm from Portland OR and thinking about getting some of the boys together for a road trip. Looks like good weather for the weekend. Would you guys welcome Lotus's and Scion's?
