Scottsdale Pavillions NSX'S!!

Honda4Life,

What time does the import race start at Firebird on Thursday night?

I'm ony about 10 miles away. I haven't been able to attend any local events lately so I'll do my best to be there.

Let me know. Anyone else here thinking about going?

By the way, are you guys going to the 2003 auto show Jan 1-5? I'm planning on checking it out either New Years day or that weekend. Perhaps we could meet up!

Grrrr.....Unfortunately our road trip didn't land us back into Chandler until 11:30 P.M. or so, I would have liked to come out, but it was impossible.
If everyone wants to go in the following weeks, let me know and I'll definately be out, it would be cool to get a lot of NSX's together. Cruising afterwards would be sweet too, let me know, sorry I could not make it.
The auto show sounds like a good idea too.

Your car is sharp! I had lots of fun driving with you too; thank goodness we didn't get pulled over(PHEW).
MYNSX: I love the red! Don't forget to do Todai on your bday

AznSXgirl: can't wait to see the silver

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of attention our cars received last night. People were snapping up shots/videos and asking questions throughout the evening.

Next time, let's do sushi

I always go for sushi after the pavillions anyway so if you guys wanna check out "Todia"
lets do it or I know of a Ichi Ban thats in Tempe thats about 20 minutes away University and Scottsdale Rd.The food is great!!
They even make an "NSX ROLL" that I am responsible for.The "FAT BOB ON ACID" is a great roll too as well as the DRAGON ROLL

It's "Todai", as in "to die for"

Oh, is that so? Hmm, my brother and I are the biggest sushi lovers you ever knew, so we will definitely have to check that out!

Saw some awesome NSXs at the Pavilions last night! I saw five cars (MYNSX's red, AznSXgirl's black and her bf's silver, Mike from Prescott's 2001 red/black coupe--sweet!!!, and a show room condition white 92 for sale w/only 18.5k miles). I understand there were two reds earlier in the evening too, anyone from here?? Also, sadly I heard the new owner of Paul Tracy's NSX had some roadside trouble

Please provide an update if anyone knows more info.

I foolishly left my NSX at home, thinking no one would show up (Syonara did the same thing). I felt so left out!

Ok, so let's try to get as many NSXs at the Pavilions this upcoming Saturday (12/14), at say before 7pmish? If anyone wants to caravan (hint, NSXlent
wink.gif
) please reply. (Is there anyway to reserve some space for our group?) MYNSX, I'm up for sushi afterwards if you are! I'm curious about that NSX hand roll

I showed up just around 6pm and only saw the white NSX. What time did the rest of you guys get there? I ended up leaving at around 6:30pm because I just figured nobody was going. Everyone must have shown up after 6:30 because I certainly didn't see any of the vipers, countach, deloreans or MYNSX while I was there. I'll try to catch you up with you all next weekend. Sorry I missed you.

I'll try to make it this coming weekend (the 13th). I have a Monte Carlo Blue/ Tan 1997. If you want to reserve space you have to contact the McDonald's located at the Pavillions and they can make the reservations.

I've done it for the local chapter of the NSXCA before. You usually need several weeks advance notice to reserve space during the cooler months.

MYNSX: Try pulling up the pics again, if they still do not work PM me and I can email them to you. You were right about the police, I saw several cruisers last night (everyone be careful!). And let's discuss sushi at the show
biggrin.gif

Chris W: You left too early! I didn't get there till after 7pm, and the others showed up after me. As for the pics, not all of them were from last night; just the NSXs I mentioned (if anyone wants the hi-res originals, email me).

SCS2k: Thanks for the info regarding the space reservation. I contacted the McDonald's reservation line (480-367-9500 ext. 502) and they have no more openings for the remainder of the year. I left a message asking for 10 spaces for the earliest available weekend. So it looks like we'll have to park where we can this weekend, and rendevouz once other cars start leaving (around 7pm-ish or so, I think).

Looking forward to seeing you all!

I believe that the spaces are only held until 6 pm. Anything after that is open to the public.

Ya, I'm pretty sure that is what all those yellow signs that they put out say...so after 6 it is kinda a free for all.
But around 7:30 or so is when the old guys start leaving, so it leaves some parking open, maybe enough for 8-10 NSX's.

Ouch, Syonara. Of course, most of us are old compared to you (have you even gone through puberty yet?

)

Double OUCH!

I was mostly talking about all the guys with hot rods/muscle cars, they all tend to leave pretty early.
Besides, you can't be that old if you carry around a sweet computer with NSX videos on it right?
Looks like a good turnout this weekend, I still don't know, I may/may not be there.

I will be out of town this weekend, so I wont be able to make it -- it would be great to see you all there. I will look forward to future opportunities.

BTW, it was great to meet a few of you there last time (Phoen$x, nsxgirl)

Mike
