Hi all, I just came back from another fun track day, and I picked up couple newer lines and being faster than usual... Also helping my friend as being a half time instructor.
I had fun the whole day till at the last 5 minutes into the last session of the day, I got a clean track, and I was going 140+mph thru turn 1, (a right-turn little kink require only 30 to 45 degree steering wheel movement with full throttle.) I have been driven thru that session whenever I got a clean opening and I had done 10+ track days now....
ok, at the middle of the corner, I felt like the engine just cut power for say, half second... It's like I had lifting my foot and floor it again. Scared the be jessus out of me and my passenger... He asked me why I do that, I was like, WTF, I don't what's going on... I purposedly going thru the rest of the lap with my normal pace ( as fast as I can but safe). No hesistation in any of the other corners even some of them seems to have higher lateral accelaration.
well, I told me passenger, lets try it one more time, so I procceed it more conservatively at around 130mph... there it goes again, at the point, I was just putting around the rest of the lap and coasting out...
As soon as I got out, ther rear brakes are all smokey, my reasoning back then was somewhere inside the engine, so I didn't really paid attention to the smoking rear brake, I just excused it as I didn't have full no-brake-if-possible cool down lap (something I religiously doing)...
From my passenger's feeling, it was a pretty smooth hessistation, and we were thinking if I was having too little gas (which is weird cuz I still have one mark less than half tank of gas in there, and I had driven it with only 1/4 tank before with no incident. Some people offered the opinion of a clogged fuel filter, or even dirty gasoline...
I had rolled the car to prevent the pad imprinting for maybe a qtr. mile. and put it back to the paddock and start cleaning up... didn't feel any problem. So I went out and had a dinner, leave the cars with Ebrake on...
5 hours later, I just went getting the car and it drives normal, however, after the 15 miles hwy driving, when I parked my car in front of the garage, I felt like it sticking a little bit, (you know the sensation that you had leave your e brake on.) Go out the car, the real wheels are burning hot. (yeah, I touched it  )
Jack up the car, it takes quite a bit of effor to turn the wheel with it install. I realized my new axxis rear pads were wear out as if I had 7 days event!!!
ok, now could my hesistation have anything to do with the sticking rear pads and then the LSD trying to kick in and help out??
Anyone have any idea why my rear caliper sticking??
Please help, I need to find out how I can take off the caliper as it grabbing the rotors...
More importantly, I need very much all input on my high speed hesistasion there. As I really don't want that to happen in the fastest corner at the track. (a little history, there were a kid driving his dad's 550, and lifing in that corner... resulting a total loss with 5 roll-overs into the forest...
I'm very exhausted, and my car was on jack stand outside my house as I type and fell asleep here  (My wife keep waking me up before I slam my face into the keyboard)..... If anybody have an idea, please help!! Thank you very much.
