I'm sure there are a lot of owners of ugly dogs that are celebrating that they may now have a chance to claim the coveted ugliest dog award. I mean, Sam was so far beyond the competition...

I have no doubt he was loved by some but that dog is downright scary looking; a companion I would not watch horror movies with at home.
