S2000 CR and NSX mini meet

Im an s2k owner myself and to me the s2k cr is just a big joke.There is multiple threads each with like a bazillion pages on the s2k forum on how we are all VERY disappointed with it.

The problem with threads like that is, probably 99% of the people never seen the car in person, or have driven it.

But

I ask my self that same question when the prototype was revealed, but after analyze it for months, I came to realizing that there is really not much Honda could have done to the car other than the Aero and handling change. I was hoping the CR received some HP gain, but there is nothing they can do to that engine without jeopardizing the reliability.

Regardless, I like the way this car drives, much more superb than the older one, and the extra cosmetic touch inside out is nice, especially the interior.

nsx owners: my na1 is good cuz it's a hardtop, na2 is good too with 3.2 and 6speed; 02+ looks so cool maybe I'll get one someday; woohoo, I got my NSX-R clone!!! Those RE070, ummm yummy!!!

S2k owner: AP1 all the way, Ap2 is for sissy or gay... *($# the CR, I could get better tires, suspension and nicer body kit for the same money. Re070 my a$$, just STi tires.

civic owner: who cares about Si, they are heavier and slower than my b18/K24 EG; Mugen Si is a joke, $8k for a set of wheels and body kit??

Is that just maturity? or, ignorance is required when you are being enthusistic??

Vance, we all know you have good taste, I agreed the blk one is the best CR color too. I had a yellow one @ autoshow, and even myself can't stand the bumble bee scheme... Haven't yet seen a white one, but the white with yellow seat. :rolleyes: the other thing that bugs me is how they attached the chin spoiler with the 2 silver color screw at fender well. It sticks out like sore thumb.

When I was a Nissan fan I never heard Nissan guys doing this. If you had a lower end model because that's all you could afford "big whup" you admired the Turbo model until you could buy one. People didn't sit around and try and knock it. I've yet to read a 350Z guy saying "my Greddy TT kit makes my car just as good as GT-R"

When I went to Ferrari boards I never saw 348 guys saying " 355 ain't sh*t all my car needs is intake , exhaust or supercharger and it's better plus doesn't cost as much"

What the f*ck is it with so called Honda fans? All I ever see is " Honda never does anything to their cars" Five secs later same guy will say "1st gen is better and I don't like all those new updates it's ugly:eek: " and go on about how his mods were cheaper and better than the mods Honda ENGINEERS RESEARCHED , TESTED and developed.

NSX owners were/are no different than the S2K guys because their were plenty of NA1 vs NA2 battles when I first joined it's just settled down quite a bit. NA1 owners were saying the same stuff you listed the AP1 owners were.

WTF is it with so called Honda people? Honestly it's just crazy!

Sorry my friend, I got my NSX today because I'll take it to Fast and Furious 4 casting call tomorrow. The weather just started to get better. I'll wash and wax both cars next week and have both of them photograph just for you:smile:
BTW, I'm also dealing with Mr. YayNSX, the guy is some thing else!!!

I was just reading about F/F 4, sick. It's about time we have some real representation, as opposed to that LV edition disgrace in the first movie. True real deal JDM shit:biggrin:

On a side note, I saw the thread with YayNSX. No class. This forum looses a little something every day:wink:

Yeah I saw that thread. Man that got crazy! Not as bad as the 92NSX clashes .. LOL
 
The casting call is at the same place as where I was an extra during the super bowl budweiser commercial shoot a year ago, so yeah, I'm looking forward to it.
 
ummm, lately I have seen a lot of people who had tastefully tuned their cars dis the GT wing. GT wing on a street car of course deserved to be called ricey; but if anyone track or race enough and don't want a GT wing, they You weren't fast enough!!! :)
 
It was pertty lame. About five NSXs there but no one I know. There was a wide body blue NSX with CTSC that pertty tight!

The casting call turned out to be more of a car show, they gave us a number, ask us to fill out the form one the back side of the number sheet, and took some pictures.

There were some seriously riced out cars.
