Hi,
Just joined forum, in the hunt for an NSX. I've read several threads, and am trying to gather info so I can estimate running costs. Here are my thoughts / questions
Insurance - if there are any specialist companies that exist and do limited miles / classic car policies I'd be interested to hear of your experiences
Routine maintenance - what sort of annual budget should I be thinking about? I guess I'd have the local Honda agent do the work (unless anyonw knows of a specialist in NSXs near Philadelphia....)
Tires - how many miles should a set get (reasonable road use only)? which manufacturers are prefered and what should a set cost?
Snap Ring / Windows - I'm hoping to keep out of the snap ring range, so shoud not be a worry for me. Ditto for windows
Mileage - I'm not that bothered, use will be low so this is not going to be an issue. Depreciation will be, but I guess that is part of the deal with expensive car toys, and at least NSX seems to be at the low end.
Any other major items which I should be thinking about?
A lot of questions, I know... any guidance will be appreciated!
thanks
Cris
