Hi Prime members,
I am having a problem with my 91 nsx with 123k miles and was wondering if anyone can help. My car runs fine, starts fine and idles fine. The only issue that I am having is.. when I take off from start or on any gear everytime.. from about 2-3k my RPM will shoot up wildly to like 7k and my car would not catch on till like a few seconds later. My car does not bog at all. My motor just seems to rev really high and wildy when it reaches around 2-3k or when gun it and will not grab on till like a few seconds later. When I am on the freeway at about 75 on 5th gear and when I gun it, my rpm's would shoot up and my engine would still rev high and will catch on till later. Can this be a fuel pump issue? fuel relay? or clutch? any suggestions anyone?
I have recently replaced:
Sparkplugs
tranny fluid
oil change
Thanks for looking!
