I checked out their website. I would have liked to have seen more detailed technical info. But reviewing what data they had, most of their comparisons showing improved horsepower were with their racing oils, which are lower viscosities. Thinner oil has less friction, but also less protection. And a racing oil only has to last 500 miles or a few hours, depending on how you want to look at it. Either way, racing oils are not good oils for street car use. They don't require detergents and are not manufactured for long term use. Now this doesn't mean they don't make a good product, but I would need to see more info in a comparison test to be convinced of any superiority. Specifically something like their 5W-30 for street use compared with a Valvoline synthetic 5W-30 and a Mobil 1 5W-30. Their website didn't indicate that their test results came from a like for like comparison and they never identified exactly what the competitor's product was.
Sincerely, A skeptic of any product that devotes more pages to "testimonials" than it does to "technical".
