Rotor Removal Trouble

Rusted 6mm screws retaining the rotor are stuck, and I do not want to strip the Philips head. I've doused it with break free but cannot get it to budge.:frown:

Does anyone have tricks for removal?

Impact screwdriver will usually do it, or if you are lazy like me, you just drill the heads off. You do not need the screws.

Try an impact driver. Still a good chance that you might strip the head. Then you are stuck drilling it out and using a screw remover. Good luck.

I had to drill mine. Try drilling in a little bit then reversing the drill, I got one to "unscrew" without having to fully drill it.

Also make sure you use the correct size driver it’s the largest one that fits in there.
I replaced mine with stainless screws and some copper based lube.

I had luck by smacking the phillips screw driver on the screw with a hammer a few times, then taking a #3 phillips head and backing out. Hope everything works out

With little skill you can walk them out with a punch. I replaced mine with allen heads and lubed with never-seze

I used a dremel tool. Pain in the ass but it worked.

I drilled them through with a 3mm bit, and backed them out with a removal bit. Easy enough

I had to drill the head off of one. Tried using a removal bit, but that busted too. Funny thing is that as soon the head was off and i took the rotor off, the remaining thread came right out.
