I have a complete power steering system from a 94 NSX and access to the whole electical loom and parts.

I am seriously considering retro-fitting this into my 91 NSX and am wondering if anyone else has done this, or can enlighten on any tricks / hurdles I might find along the way.

The manual steering gives much better feel and therefore better car control.

I wouldn't do it, unless the existing manual steering is worn out, in which case I would simply fix the manual unit, not swap in the power unit.

Or maybe Arnold wants to see you at the Gym

as an owner of a '91 auto with EPS, i suggest you stay away from such. The $$ involved to maintain the system, let alone the installation to start , is, to say the least, completely out of the world. I have replaced the speed sensor, EPS computer , re-built the rack once, and now on the verge of replacing the rake which is around US$ 4000!!!. The sensation of driving with and without EPS will only come into play when you park. In a city like HK, I missed the EPS. But considering this is the most expensive part of the X, after replacing the auto transmssion, i think you should forget it.
Good luck.

Yea with my 95 I was actually considering removing the power steering system out of my car b/c I like how the non-power steering system felt... and it give syou more control on the road...
