Replacing Oil Sender Switch

I have a 92 NSX and there are times when driving on the beltway when the oil pressue will read at the 3rd hash mark (out of eight); other times it will read at the 6th hash mark. So I was thinking about replacing the oil sender switch. Can anybody provide some tips on doing this since it seems kind of hard to get to? I'm thinking that removing the windshield washer tank might make it much easier. Any thoughts? Thanks.

First off, that tank is the coolant (antifreeze) tank, unless you're at the wrong end of the car . Be sure to only put Honda antifreeze in there! Second, you might first try just cleaning the electrical connector (sometimes that's all that's needed). Replacing the sending unit is a fairly easy DIY, just take your time and be sure not to overtorque it. The sending unit is a known problem on these cars. Happy Motoring!

Your probably right - I'm on the drivers side but didnt pay much attention to what kind of tank it is. Removing the connector 1st to clean it is a good idea and if that doesnt work, I'll replace it. Thanks for the help.
