Removing left axle: two problems

Two more questions:

1. The boot kit contains 150 gramms grease. So I transferred 20-30 gramms from the inner to the outer axle. Correct?

2. What is the correct axle mouting order? Outer one or inner one first?

Thanks again!
Clean the splines of the axle and hub real well. Insert the outer axle into the hub and get the nut started but don't torque all the way down. Then get the inner axle aligned with the tranny. Holding the two lower suspension arms jerk the axle into the tranny such that it "pops" the snap ring back in place. That was tough on mine because I was laying on my back under the car and it's hard to yank it hard enough. But eventually I got it. I put anti-sieze on both splines before reassemby.

Thanks for your explanation!

I've used copper grease on the outer hub after cleaning it with a steel brush. Ok? The inner spline doesn't need it because it's lubricated by the transmission oil, no?

I believe that's right.

I've finished it today and a test-drive didn't show any problems.

Thanks to all who helped me!
