For those Vegas guys interested in tracking their NSX come out to LVMS this weekend for Redline Time Attack. Even if you do not track the car I am sure you will find plenty to do out there.

This will also mark the debut of our new Super Modified NSX! Come on out and show the world what the NSX was meant to do. There is also a car show also if that is your thing:)

I forgot to grab a schedule when i was there this morning but, does anyone know when the party starts? Car show? track event? When is everyone going? Caravan? Meet point?

The Car will be there by 7 AM. Billy will be on the track at 9 AM and 11 AM. The last time on the track is 1 PM, which may be the timed event.

For anyone on the NW side of town, I will leaving for the track by 8:30AM.

ahh ok thats a bit early for me...lol when is the car show. i was there around noon and i forgot to grab a schedule. I heard that Billy wasnt driving this weekend. Its matt andrews at the helm....

NIck i left a little before 3pm but i was right behind the cricket car on the way out the gate. Not sure what happened but when i got there at noon the car was on jack stands and i never saw it on the track. I heard it ran earlier but was hoping to see it in action. I brought a friend from Cali who is interested in a NSX and i hyped him up about the cricket car and we waited hoping to se it in action. I was a bit disappointed as this would have been my first time also seeing this car in action. Was hoping the Cricket would represent especially in VEGAS since i wont be able to see it at any other events.

I was hoping to hear some information about this beast to. Did Billy make it to the track at all? I know he had a prior engagement to a grand am race, but I wonder if he made it to the time attack at all. Would love to know some times or even what happened.

Thanks to everyone that showed up at the event. I wish I was able to spend more time with everyone but we had quite a few issues we had to overcome. Billy is still our driver. He was at a Grand-Am race this past weekend. Matt Andrews will serve as co-driver when there are scheduling conflicts.

We ran great on Fri-Sat posting a 1:37.2 on low boost and with tires that had about a dozen sessions on then. This was still a few seconds faster than the team that won the race. Not bad for Matt's first time in a new untested car! However, on Sat night we discovered that our wastegates had failed on us, so we replaced them with another set from AFI. (Thanks Mike/Josh!) Apparently, there was an issue with the batch of gates and we happened to get a set.

Sunday morning on the first qualifying session they failed again, over boosting the motor and causing damage to our ATW core. We packed the car and took it to Wicked HP to fab up essentially a new turbo system in about 2 hours and then dyno it. We then found out the extent of the damage to the core and had to come up with a quick fix to get in a lap.

Too much drama to even mention here ensued with RTA and hours later we were able to run the car. Our fix only yielded us about 3/4 of a lap and that was the end of our race day.

But not the end of our night:)..... The other part of the race that consumed much of my time was helping with the filming of our team. The video is going to be insane!
