I just installed a new shift knob tonight. perfect fit and grip. This is excellent and inexpensive replacement for worned out leather shiftknobs or ones that are coming apart at the stitches.
This is the Mugen replica shift knob. Same quality except the Mugen logo seems to be screened on instead of etched on. The knob is aluminum and threaded just like the OEM knob and wont jiggle like a universal aftermarket knob.
After installing the new shift knob, overall height of the entire shifter was about 1 inch shorter.
i have 6 of these in silver. first come first serve. $20 each.
Also shown is an Integra Type-R shift boot (Genuine Honda Parts) which was retrofitted into the NSX. As you can see it adds a little extra flair. real easy to install. The shift boot comes with a black ring that will make the shift knob set flush when used as a combo.
