While installing my coilovers I notice that the rear windshield garnish is a bit dull looking. I was wondering if anyone has ever painted it to match their car or should i just get it resprayed the flat black color?

Or buy the cf version that lets more air in lol

Not worth getting it resprayed professionally when you can do it yourself for less than $20. Mine was fading badly so I did a 2-step paint on it and it looks like it came factory that way.

CF engine hatch duct garnish

just use trim black aerosol. used that and made mine look brand new.

does the downforce one really make that much of a difference?

It makes a HUGE difference because it LOOKS GOOD!

It does look sweet! How is the fitment though? I've gotta say that so far, I have been mostly disappointed with the fitment of CF parts on my NSX. Even my DF license plate garnish required lots of work to get a decent fit.

I had a few parts on my car touched up in gloss black. I also had my rear garnish done with the batch that I brought in. It looks fabulous and should be quite durable as well.
