Rear brakes seized

interesting so you really have to drive the car and heat up the brakes after a wash.....no washy parky...

Yes, definitely. That day it was about to rain and I was rushing to get the track gunk off the car so I just put it away. I knew the pads were coming off anyway, but I was still shocked when it came apart. I've never had trouble parking it after driving in the rain but I make sure to smash the brakes on the two turns before my house. Well, I do that anyway :)

I picked up my NSX today - $6800 in parts and labor to replace all pads and rotors, covered under warranty. My dealer's NSX specialist noted that the iron rotors have had problems from the get-go, which may be one reason they were not available for the 2017 model year.

On a slightly related topic, my dealer provided me with a 2019 RLX as a loaner - good lord, that is the most non-Honda-like car I've ever driven. IMO, it is an absolutely horrible car. The front seats are huge and flat and made of slippery leather. The center console is poorly laid out and has this large beer-belly bulge. The steering, accelerator and suspension all feel like jelly. Honestly, it feels like something Cadillac or Buick made 15 years ago. My DD is a Tesla - a much better car all around and an infinitely better driver's car.
