does any one know if a rad from a 1993NSX will fit into a 1991, the dealer list them as a different part number but the appear to be the same. I have a used 1993 rad in like new condition and I need to replace my rad in a 1991 NSX. Any ideas ? I know a lot of times part numbers just change up but the dealer can not tell me for sure.

Thanks in advance

After checking my parts catalog the only difference that I find is the radiator is matched to the fan shroud; the fan motor and fan blade are the same across the years. And indeed the 91-92 radiator is made by Showa while the 93+ radiators are made by Sak. All the hoses, mounts, brackets that connects the radiator to the car looks to be the same part numbers. The drain plugs/o-rings on the radiators are different part number so they may be different in size but you should have those already.

But it looks like you can get away with using the 93 radiator if you can check if the 91 shroud will fit.. If not, you would have to buy a new shroud.. I have listed the part numbers just for reference.

91-92
radiator 19010-PR7-A03 (SHOWA)
fan shroud 10015-PR7-A03 (SHOWA)

93+
radiator 19010-PR7-A04 (SAK)
fan shroud 19015-PR7-A04 (SAK)
