Radiator Hose

if your return line from the coolant bottle is plugged.

when the cooling system cools and coolant contracts, the fluid in the coolant bottle is suppose to work its way back in filling the void.

so if the return line is plugged, you'll have a vaccum in your coolant system and cause the coolant hose to collapse.

lol thats my guess

The Radiator hose on my daughter's Civic, had the same problem. After bleeding the system it was still the same. I spoke to my NSX tech, he suggested replacing the Rad cap.....All good since.

our nsx does not have that problem since coolant is not drawn back through the radiator cap.

a broken radiator cap in a normal honda car would do exactly what i stated above. prevent the coolant from returning when the car is cooling down.

What would cause the radiator hoses to collapse once the car is off and cooled down? I installed new hoses and im going to replace the thermostat tonight!

The thermostat has a little hole in it with a metal plug rattling around. It can't make an air tight seal so I doubt that is the problem unless you have lots of gunk in your coolant. I would suggest the radiator cap too, cheap one to try and only takes 30 seconds to swap when the car is cool!
