R MOTOR MOUNTS

Purchased the Ebay “R” motor mounts for $660 plus shipping. I seem to remember someone once saying that these were “stiffer” than OE? Is that true or are these same as OE and it’s simply a parts number thing? For this price I’m not complaining, just wondering what I’ve got. Thanks!

Congratulations on your purchase of the mounts!

The rear mount is the only one that differs from the four, designed to be "stiffer," albeit slightly. The general consensus is quite positive, with many noting a tangible difference. However, it remains a question whether this is due to the R/Type S mount specifically or simply because all the engine mounts were replaced.
