Project: Widebody Version 2.1

Dale,

I have been working on a very unique NSX part that I will be producing in a very limited qty. (serial numbered). Just the tooling itself has taken me over 8 months to develop. I should be ready to release it in 2-3 weeks. ;)

Hey Jeff,

You ever get that "top secret" part ready for public consumption?
Speaking of "limited run"....check out my "Frisbee NSX" post, haha!

Do you have any close up pictures of the rear hatch? I'd love to see more from behind the door and around to the back and how the hatch was constructed. Beautiful car and your craftsmanship and detailed eye really shows.

...can't give away all my secrets ;)

Vroom if I am ask a question... Are you using a subwoofer? If so how is it working with the autovation plate on the passenger foot panel?

I vary rarely listen to my radio. I still have the factory sub and aftermarket co-axial mounted separates in the doors. It sounds pretty good. I don't really notice much "muffling" from the foot plate in place. I would really have to do a comparison to know for sure... if it does restrict anything on the sub frequencies, it's not much.

Is there any space between the actual woofer and your plate? If so any idea how much? I've been wanting to get get that autovation plate but haven't done so because of the woofer thing.

If I remember correctly, there is a metal plate the sits between the woofer and the carpet from the factory. The Autovation plate presses tightly against the carpet and that factory metal plate.

Just wanted to post a quick update.

New Carbon Fiber sill/jambs.

The new Airbox/plenum for the itb system should be completed soon also.

Jeff are these inserted sills and jams or overlayed? Looks killer!

It's a separate insert that covers the entire jamb from a to b pillar.

The insert is only ~1.5mm thick. The door closes perfect after minor adjustments.

Yet another amazing upgrade ... pure genius!

Jeff stop! We are not worthy!
:)
ITB system SOS ?

i really hate this post, Jeff your car is so dirty..... but a good dirty.... no offense to other extreme modders (means im about to offend someone) but NO ONE does it like you.
