Production Honda with a V-8

They should just buy a bunch of CTSC's, throw them on with some other CT items, raise the price to $98k or so and call it good.

I agree with that 100%. Honda should have done that in 2002. The easiest fix possible for the lack of HP compared to other supercars. Plus the supercharger doesn't change the power delivery of the car. It just makes more of it.

Which production car is Toyota getting their V8 from that they are using in GT500?

Toyota has quite a few V8 cars. In the US they're under the Lexus brand name. In the rest of the world they're all Toyota. For exmaple, the GS400/430, LS 400/430, some of their SUVs, etc. I think they're all based on the same V8 the GT500 car uses.

Seems unlikely that Honda would make a FI street car. It goes against their philosophy for street cars. They're all about highly tuned NA engines. But they did resort to a turbo on the GT500 car in order to stay competitive so who's to say they wouldn't do the same for street cars to be competitive. Rumors state that Honda is going to move away from performance cars in gneral in the future so it's unlikely we'll see a high hp factory NSX.
