Can you please explain why you keep the OEM parts?
Why do you need the original parts?

Don't you have a mold to make the carbon parts?

Or

are these Carbon Pieces made as an overlay over the OEM part?

No, the OEM parts with carbonfiber surface are parts with all advantages.

As we stated since beginning of PIP parts on 2008, all our Procar cf interior parts needs OEM parts as basic.
There is no way to save much weight on a pure cf part also the OEM basic fitment is perfect, so no reason to make a mold or add brackets etc with glued brackets etc....

The idea came from AMG Mercedes and BMW M, who do all their cf interior parts that way for durability.
The surface of the OEM parts must be modified in some ways and prepared as basic for the carbonfiber work.


This is how our last part came out of the production.....think there is nothing you can do better.:smile:
We havent seen other parts with that perfect and shiny wave structure.

1) I can show you my factory AMG part is 100% carbon fiber for the dashboard
I have a set I will send pictures of later when I am home

2) Stephen Deisinger (Sduff aka NCAuto USA) makes 100% carbon fiber parts with added clips that fit properly. He makes parts using a mold and vacuum bagging system

I can sent pictures later of how these parts fit and look. They are great.
I do believe making carbon is an art form and every maker has a different "look" for the art.

But I will say that his parts look VERY similar to yours except he uses a different weave patter. ( I believe it is 3x3 instead of 1x1 or 2x2)
But the parts have NO WAVES

To be honest.... the pictures are too poor to see more details for comparsion, a common problem.

But if these parts are OK, you should buy them from that company.....save you lot of shipment and import costs .-))

All new parts are installed and the annual service is done, so time to test some new things.

This part was exclusively produced for my car, so its a unicate til now.

All other clocks, which I got from US last 4 weeks, are actually in production and will be shipped backt til end of july.

Actually I have not many cf parts (exept interior parts) in stock because I decided to reduce this some years ago.
I stock JDM NSX-R parts, so the most popular ones I have here because actually its very difficut to get more......NSX-R engine cover is a good example.
