I had the blessings of Tom Wallace, friend and #1 in the Corvette program at chevy, to get a private tour with friends at Pratt and Miller Racing.

We were shown around by Jim Miller and his wife. It was a very detailed tour, yes their were things in there that I had to erase from my camera to not get friends in trouble and others that I saw and can't talk about. But it was a very cool look into the car and the equipment that goes into a race car and a custom made C6RS 8.3L corvette.

I was very impressed with all of the staff and employees, they stopped everything to answer questions and show how things were made and what process are taken to make such a winning race car!

One of the things that I thought was crazy was Ceramic Ball Bearings for the wheel hubs. 25k cost for the bearings in the car and they have back up sets! Totaly cool. Also note on the race car engine shots how small the restrictor tubes are that the car has to breath through!

OHH AND NOTICE THE SHIRT THAT I AM WEARING.... I had 2 engineers come up to me and say that they love the NSX!!! Probably got them fired for saying they like anything else besides vett.

Our local PCA Region took a tour a couple years ago, and it's just a beyond amazing facility.
