Before I go to the dealer and take a second mortgage on my condo...When I step on the throttle the power comes and goes...like from 4 cylinders to 6 cylinders...vice versa...its weird...been happening for the last week. Car has 140K miles....I'm hoping its a fuel pressure issue...at least that is what it feels like...anyone else have had a similar prob?

When was the last time the fuel filter was changed ?...or you can also check the coil and plugs.
