This was on the NSX before I bought it. Luckily I was able to keep one since the previous owner wanted to keep them both.
i don't have a photo but my old NSX was "MACH TOO" (calif)...
new one is generic... but i'm still thinking.

It all started out with those old California plate above the car. An old lady friend had them in her garage. They were from her families cars. Date back to 1919 all the way to 1945. At any given time, the family had 4 cars, as some are in sequential order. I work for dealerships and started collecting(hording?) plates and then went into street signs. I probably have over 300 plates(you can only see 1/3 of the garage) and in my shop I have the rest of the street signs. Kinda looks like I like cars?

Anytime has a plate fettish
as evidenced by the painstaking effort he went through to have his legal Ca. white plate painted in 70's blue and yellow. Now how's THAT for custom!!

Let's get yours painted and make it look like you've had it for years!(even before the NSX came out) The plates have a 10 week turn around time eek!.
BTW, The guy who did them naturally thought I was going to go with the Black/Yellow plate from the 60's. I told him that no personalized plates existed then(they came out in 73', with the Blue/Yellow coloring) THAT would be a bust. Bad enough that I had them painted. Black and Yellow.......Hmmmmm
