Post your own rendering of the next NSX

I remember doing 3 ideas ages ago based on the horrible detroit concept, actually i did them next day, when there was HOPE for an MR layout B4 no hope @ all and B4 the total cancelation of the project:

It was good times when we used to guess, now is all SAD there's not even a GT on the way ... oh well, who cares, i adore my X anyways ...

I love the clean proportions of that one.

Pull the hood line down towards the ground a bit (drop the nose a bit), move or extend the side intakes up the side a bit, and then graft the headlight slits from the GT concept over in place of the projectors and you would have a pretty interesting "evolution" of the pre-'02 NSX. We can just assume that those slits have enough LEDs to serve as driving lights so you don't have to resort to pop-ups again :).

::Edit::
I'm useless with the photochopping stuff, so here is a crap "paint" modification of Oscar's nicely done render :) to halfway illustrate what I was talking about.

i think there is all ready a car out there that "should" have been the next nsx. The Saleen Raptor. And for $185,000, i think this would be a great buy.

Always did like the potential of the HSC/2nd Gen NSX. If Porsche can pump out 415hp from the GT3, Honda should be able to do 350-400hp with the HSC. Just keep the weight at or below 3,000 lbs and we should have a killer performance car from Honda. Until then, here patiently waiting. PS - need 3 versions 1. Entry Level 2. Entry Level Convertible 3. Type R / High Performance. Again, if Porsche can offer so many versions of the 911...

That Saleen Raptor looks pretty badass. Maybe it is a good thing they probably won't make a new NSX. We'd all just want one so bad, and I know the price would be so crazy there would be no chance of me owning one in the near future.

That, IMO, has too many sharp creases/angles, kinda like a Stealth Fighter. The two pictures before it actually look better.

The HSC I consider to be more like the F-35.

Meh, I don't really care for the HSC concept. I really like the pics that NSX Rebel posted. That's a hot car. I really do like the sharp creases, it really connects to what Acura is doing right now anyway. Kind of like the Revention.

But I still think that Audi took the NSX's soul with the R8. To me, it's a done deal. For the price point, looks, and performance, the R8 is dead on. Even more so now that the V10 is about to come out this year.

Which picture are you talking about? The first one was quoted from traxtar614.

The second pic is of the HSC concept. Much better looking than traxtar's rendition, IMO. Perfect evolution of the NSX.

Sorry, I meant your first pic. I don't know, I just don't like the HSC concept. The windows need to be closer to the door line. I don't like how the cabin dips in from the door. It's wierd looking.

Am I right or what?! ;) Both the HSC and F-35 Lightning II have just the right amount of creases, curves, smooth surfaces.

The F-35 can almost do what the F-22 Raptor can, for WAY less money. Just how the HSC should have been, compared to anything Ferrari/Porsche/etc.. IF they were to build it.

Yea... but the F-22 is waaaaay more sexy. It's sex on wings lol.

I think they look very similar, almost the same actually. Not to mention that the Raptor is way more expensive.
Actually now that I'm looking at them, the F-35 looks better, specially it's swept back vertical stabilizers.
