R888s are great semi slicks John, but you're not going to put them on your daily driver GTR are you?

I daily drove my NSX with RA1s for two summers but I would not do it again.

Tire wear aside, they're too slick too soon and it didnt take too much rain before the car was a challenge to keep on the road at any speed. Concrete was DEADLY. The R888s will be similar.

Sweet looking wheels - what are your plans for them?
Naw, the R888's come with the wheels and are going to go on the oems for track duty. I'm throwing the oem Bridgestones on the ADVs for maximum hard parking points.

Thanks Drifter, me too!! They look great on the Berlina and I love the fact that they are nsx-r so have more aggressive offsets than factory 02+ wheels so no spacers needed.

HAHA Yea Ryt!!!

LOL tough crowd!!!!!!

Outside of the fact that I changed the wheels day 1 (put the gunmetal nsx-r wheels on it) I do plan on leaving this car primarily stock. (It runs and drives like new!)

It is a 50k all original factory oem car, doctor owned all original paint no accidents. It's stock, and I mean stock (including stock airbox, exhaust, 8ft antenna, even factory alarm window stickers) and I would like to preserve its original feel/look.

If anything else, the only mods I will do will be suspension and a shorter antenna.

LOL.... then maybe the shift knob since the oem one is a worn, and then new leather seats, then kwv3s since the oem suspension is a tad worn, then 02+ conversion since oem bulbs were getting a little dim...

LMAO. I already have a Lime Green vehicle I've invested god knows how much money into with all of this plus more. Not happening!!

Well, I've been contemplating and debating this day for many months about how I would approach the T-Belt and clutch situation, but I decided to go whole hog and have both done at once by our very knowledgeable Robert. Now, I had originally thought I was only going to do the belts and water pump, but there was significant scope creep and I am going to do the full 90k service as well. As we all know, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of replacement Titanium connecting rods.

When I bought the car last year, I knew about the T-Belt, but the clutch was a bit of a surprise late last summer when it started to slip. I went shopping at Teknotik and managed to scoop pretty well everything I need from them; the only thing missing was the oil, coolant and brake fluid.

Needless to say, I've come to terms with this, and the expenditure here will double in size because the deal was that when I do this, I need to take my wife away for a week.

Last purchase, was getting a road bike for the fiance. At the peak of her excitement (I never buy random gifts) I broke to her that I got the CTSC from the group buy, no craps were given. Success.

Well look at that! You bought a vehicle you can actually fit in. Good for you lol.

Haha, smart ass. The downfalls of being a giant... you look like a clown jumping into the seat of virtually every car.
