DrVolkl said:I think it depends on the car. I love mine, but I think it looks great on the Sebring Silver with the black roof. It's probably a case by case basis.
I like how it's lighter than the stock wing...and since I kept mine, I can always go back to it if needed. So I say go for it, you can always sell it to someone else down the road if you don't like it.

I am remaining neutral and have not yet voted. The big opening I was talking about is between the spoiler and the trunk. My NSX is lowered by nearly 1.875" in the rear, so whenever I am standing from behind and looking looking down from 45degree angle, I see a big opening. Adding the 02+ trunk lid should help a lot. We all have something that we are really picky about:tongue: .
To each his/her own and there are some really nice Type R clones now on this board but I am not a fan of the Type R spoiler. I do think it looks like an afterthought (even on a real Type R) and that it detracts from the very nice factory lines of the car.TURBO2GO said:One of my favorite things about the NSX, was the way the taillights curved in and up at the outer ends, and went into the wing that was beautifuly integrated into the rest of the body.
I think most would see the R wing as an aftermarket add-on. A little bit fast and furious to them perhaps.
PhiAlpha44 said:I also was thinking about the type R hood. I have the black canopy so I thought it would help... but I just think it breaks up the lines of the car too much. I think if you had the color matched hood, you should paint the wing to match the car.

Ponyboy said:Pics really don't do the Type R spoiler justice. I was on the fence about it for quite some time and finally took the plunge. It makes the NSX look sinister and purposeful with it on. Matter of fact, there's an excellent article in the latest NSXDriver about it.
