like the title says....just curious if there are certain years i should stay away from...like if any years are more prone to certain problems, if there is a year that is slower than the rest....etc etc

just watch out for the 91's within snap-ring range.

Snap ring issue on early cars is something to look for if you are gonna go 91 or 92.

95 & 96 are considered the slowest since they are targas before they got the 3.2L.

I have a 1991 that is a snap-ring car. I had it fixed before it broke. My car is nearly perfect! Very little problems, now that the little things have been fixed.

Just remember, the car is not cheap to have repaired, so be sure to budget accordingly. Let us see your car when you get it!!
