Picts of my NSX's...

Awesome collection dude! Hiroshima is probably right, if you sell your collection you could probably have a healthy down payment on the real thing! Good luck with your future purchase.:)

Teej NICE COLLECTION!!! You've got more cars than my local hobby shop!
Now my one-and-only kyosho model looks lonely. ;)

Any chance of a close up on the lime-green NSX (preferably in natural light; not with flash) ...if that's not too much hassle (if it is, dont worry about it)

Do you own a 1:1 scale NSX model too? :D

As far as the red NSX goes, unfortunately, its not Ebbro. That is only one of 3 1:43 scale Ebbro NSX's I dont have. I still need the '92 1:43 NSX-R and the 1:43 Ebbro Zanardi edition. The red one I have is made by a company called Autostrada and is identical to the DelPrado NSX's. However, Autostrada comes in white and red, while DelPrado only made Yellow. They arent very expensive NSX's either usually going for around $20 max.

I personally favor the lime green.. its nice..
I wont mind being the only one in the US with that color.. as long as its factory paint.. hehe

I saw that you have the first Ebbro edition of the early 90's NSX.. thats a rare item. would you want to sell it?

holy moley...

Your collection puts my NSX goods to shame. I'll post up pics later, but here is a list of what I have:

Models:

-Kyosho 1:18 Honda NSX Type S in pearl white
-Tomica 1:59 Honda NSX-R (new version)
-Tomica 1:59 Honda NSX-R (old version)

-Revell 1:18 Acura NSX in red w/black top
-Tomica 1:59 Limited Edition Honda NSX in red/black top
-Tomica 1:59 Honda NSX in red/black top
-Banpresto 1:87 Honda NSX in red/black top

-Tomica Bit-Char-G Honda NSX-R in yellow

-Excess Tuners Acura NSX in silver
-Excess Tuners Acura NSX in yellow

Magazines and books:

-Hyper Rev Vol. 32 (NSX)
-CarTop Mook on the new NSX-R
-another book on the new NSX-R (forgot title)
-Jan. 2003 Option2 with the old NSX-R modified by Kawada Racing
-Official Honda brochure on the new NSX-R
-Press release only info on the new NSX-R
-1991 NSX factory book (the silver and black book)
-Official Honda brochure on the 2002 NSX

I'm trying to get as many scale sizes of the red body, black top NSX as I can....if I'm gonna do so I need the Rosso 1:12 and the Tamiya 1:24. Also, how much did you pay for your Kyosho 1:18 Honda NSX-R? They're becoming more and more expensive on eBay now....a few years ago they maxed out at 175-190$ US, but now they sell for like 250$ US. On a side note, I bought my Kyosho 1:18 Toyota Supra (silver) in 1993 for 80$ canadian, and sold it a few years ago on eBay for 150$ US.

I'm out of room on my desk for more models, and I'm out of display cases, but I have other cars. Again, I'll post pics later.

Teej : a huge thanx of appreciation for posting the lime-green model.... nice shots btw.

i wouldn't mind seeing a lime-green NSX in real life; as the Murcielago looks STUNNING in lime... (ahahha... in the "lime-light" ...bad pun) however, if i were purchasing an nsx i would never consider lime-green (unless i already own a red, a yellow, a pearl blue, and a black NSX ;) )

NSXaholic: i thought lime-green was available but only by special order. (Color Code: GY-19M)

BostonNSX, not a chance....:)

I still need the 1:18 Imola Orange NSX Type S Zero..anyone have it that wants to sell it?

Endless. I ended up paying around $230 for the 1:18 Kyosho NSXR on Ebay. They seem to be avaliable in waves....

Anybody have the Zanardi 1:43 NSX? I am not rich by any means but I'd definitely give up my weekend job paycheck for either that one, or the 1:43 NSX-R (early Ebbro, not recent models). :(

Neo, those pictures are from toyeast.com. I unfortunately dont own a digital camera. My friend has to come by and take them for me. Also, there was an early model NSX on Autotrader and ebay quite a while ago that someone had painted lime green. It wasnt very pretty. I thought about buying it, driving it home at night, then not bringing it out until I got it repainted at the local high quality paint shop.

If anyone has the models I am missing, please email me at or we can just trade model sources. I can't wait to get my NSX so I can cruise around in these huge NSX meets.

NSXaholic ...But I can see why Acura may have some reservations in introducing it as a standard exterior color.

Originally posted by NeoNSX said:

I believe you are right Neo, but Lime Green it is not a "standard" exterior color. The standard exterior colors are:

(1) Silverstone Metallic
(2) Grand Prix White
(3) Spa Yellow Pearl
(4) Imola Orange Pearl
(5) New Formula Red
(6) Long Beach Pearl Blue
(7) Berlina Black.

Regards.

btw .. the rosso kit is rare..
but I got it oin Taiwan at a cheap price..
its in excellent condition..hehe

and I think u can get a real NSX already with the $ you spent on ur other "NSXs" collectionm

spartan2-3, No,. but email me Monday or actually, anytime at work and I will point you in the direction of where i purchased my 1:43 Red NSX. Its not Ebbro, its Autostrada but still a decent looking one. The only others that I know of is the Ebbro shown below, and the Zanardi Ebbro.

Boston, the 1:12 Rosso kit is pretty rare, and pretty expensive because of it. I just dont know about the most sought after in the world as you have stated.

The Ebbro 1:43 1992 NSX-R, Ebbro 1:43 Ltd Zanardi, and the Kyosho 1:18 Imola Orange Type S Zero are much more rare and harder to come by.

I'd take a 1:12 Rosso, but two things, money, and no space right now :D

great to hear from others who agreed Rosso is a great kit, sad it is very expensive now and to get it built professionally, it will be more. as to ebbro NSXR, '92.. it is still avaliable at some stores/e-bay, not sure about the Zanardi or the Imola orange as Kyosho best was the NSXR.. about US$ 2-300 and going up as it is truly, like the Rosso kit, collectible. I owed the Rosso 1:43 kit from the early 90's and bought the built up 1:43 a few years back for US$ 15 in black. my 1:1 is a white 91 with black top.

pacacu, If you can find that '92 1:43 NSX-R in Hong Kong, buy it, I will buy it off of you. Ive seen it on ebay once in the last year. I am talking about the 1:43 Ebbro, not the 1:18 Kyosho. The 1:18 is available all the time, but still usually brings more than $180 a pop.

will keep me eyes out for the ebbro R, if the Kyosho R is going for $ 180, buy it and flip it in a few years, you will make money once the new X is out.. these will be collector items. stay tuned..

Hehe, well, thats it for now...hopefully this summer the real thing.:p

I have been trying to find a Blue/Tan street NSX model for a while now. It looks like you found one. Do you remember where you got it? If not, would you be willing to sell yours in return for a bit of cash toward the real thing? You can private me if you like.

Chip, that NSX is readily available at www.toyeast.com click JAPAN CAR then Ebbro--> Honda

Thank you. I appreciate the quick reply. However, I could not find a blue NSX there. Lots of other colors (even lime green!), but no blue. I also did a general NSX search on the site and found other brands of models, but still no blue with tan. Any other ideas?

I just went there and they were all gone...I promise you that as early as last week, they had several of them..so many that they took up almost the entire page...same with the yellow ones.

Hey Chip,

Do you mind ordering two if you find some? :)

I would have been happy to, Noah. But see above. :(
