Hehe, well, thats it for now...hopefully this summer the real thing.:p

Thanks guys. Triple black was my first option but lately I've been leaning toward sebring silver/black/black, the triple black, then black/black/ivory.

I have the photos in 1028x760 if anyone wants them for backdrops. The top one makes a nice backdrop. I have several others. Enjoy!:D

what? you didn't get the special all-aluminum-NSX-glass-showcase-super-duper-VTEC-cabinet? :)

nice collection....i've just started mine....someday i'll take some pics of my collection.....someday.....

Teej,

Keep the faith. I'm sure NSX ownership will not be too far away. You've got a '97 Grand Cherokee. Trade that in, and (I'm guessing) you'll be able to pick up a nice-quality early-year NSX.

In a cabriolet car (like the Porsche 911) the "triple black" comment refers to (1) the exterior color of the car, (2) the color of the cabriolet top, and (3) the color of the interior. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I'm not sure that "triple black" has significance for the NSX, unless you are buying an early-year car where the top of the car is a different color than the exterior (in early year cars it was always black, until the point where you could specify whether you wanted it the same as the body color). Is that what you meant?

Regards.

Ahhh... I want them all ;)!!

Thanks a lot guys...I just turned 27 this last February and I feel that this is really my year. I'm looking to get one in July, early August. This will be my 9th year in worshiping the car. I have a lot of cars that I desire and the '94 or '96 C4 Turbo is my secret admiration car,...but the NSX has always driven my passion like no other.

In regards to 'triple black' yeah, I was referring to the earlier models... that is unless I get a sudden change of fortune on the good side. ;) Once I get one, I hope to join the Midwest Syndicate of the NSXprime members.

As far as the collection goes, it is still growing but I am running out of room. Might have to start up another corner curio or something. :D I have about 7 plastic Tamiya and Fujimi models I have yet to build. I have been collecting NSX's for about 8 years but all the ones in the cabinet are within the last 4.

where did you find these at?i'd like to start a collection.

Fury...is that Rick Hunters Veritech I see to the left?? I'm sick on Robotech stuff....I have some Veritech's in my bedroom.

Thats a nice collection of die-cast and collectibles in general. I have some Ferrari's and some misc. cars. If I ever get the room though, I will start expanding my collection outside of NSX's.

Hmm...I get a lot of my collectibles from different places. 40% came by way of ebay. Some other spots include:

Toyeast
Ewacars
Hobby Link Japan

There can be large price differences from item to item so don't buy the first time you spot something..instead, search the other sites and ebay for it first. I've bought some cars for $5 at once place, but have seen for $20 at others.

Joel,

Sure thing, my friend should be over tomorrow with the digital camera. That NSX can be found almost anywhere. However, there are 2 different kinds. Left hand and Right hand drive. The yellow one comes the same. However, I only have one of each.

I have the left hand drive blue and the right hand drive yellow.

I think the left hand is rarest. Anyway, they both can be found at Toyeast under JAPAN CAR, then Ebbro. :)

The image above is the same as I have "except I have left hand" and is from the above site as well.

try ebbro web-site as they have the best X in 1:43 ever.. Kyosho is getting scare on the R.. while you should always aim for a Rosso kit. that is the best and most sort after kit in the world. It is avaliable in 1: 43 and 1: 18., either one is worth its weight in gold.

I think your talking about the VF-1J Miriya Type poseable figure, right? That's just a Miriya shelf that I have. I have some of my stuff set up on another shelf HERE . I'm running out of room so I'm going to need to cycle stuff in/out.

wow! that's quite the collection you have there! yea i think i'm looking for an nsx right now as well, i'm trying to find a black/black one as well, black is just so.... sexy! hahah

The Rosso kit is available in 1:12 and 1:43. I don't know about the most saught after in the world though...maybe the most expensive buildable kit with the 1:12 usually going for $300.

Also, the ebbro website is a decent source but prices and availability do vary dramatically from site to site. They just recently offered many of their cars for sale directly through their site,..previously, their site was just a gallery and the cars could only be found via retailer.

Kyosho....they are always up in the air and for some reason, cannot and will not tell you whats coming out. I only hope the 2002 - present NSX is manufactured in 1:18 but I wouldnt hold my breath waiting. Kyosho is evil in a way. The NSX's that they sell with the 7 spoke wheel design all come in Auto-tranny only. If you haven't noticed, take a look inside yours. And if you own the newer 7 spoke rim yellow one, you will find that for some reason, it not only has the JDM/Euro side markers, but also has the USDM ones as well. Their older models though ('92 lineup) has the 5-spd inside and their limited NSX Type S Zero models do as well. The older ones are a lot harder to come by and can usually only be found on Ebay going from $110 to as much as $250 depending on the car and the current ebay demand.

Hey Fury,......very nice collection.....I was going to start collecting those back in the day. I only have 3 that I have built and painted though. They are in my bedroom atop my window sill.

thanks,Teej!
just ordered $800 worth of NXS cars!:)

Teej,

You could sell your model collection and have a down on an NSX :-) Geez that is a nice collection. For someone to have that many NSX models, you must really like the car. Good luck with your purchase.
