PICS of my MR2 (just thought id share) :)

Nice MR2, my friend is planning on getting that same model.

Did you ever run it in the 1/4?

He should look for a 93 up. A few upgrades that year including limited slip {not in my 91} better trans., slightly better suspension.

Funny, but not so unexpected to see quite a few NSX owners also like the MR2:rolleyes:

The MR2 (Turbo) is like the little cousin of the NSX: very similar setup.
Turbo Rev3 version 245bhp/1270Kg has about same P/W ratio as the NSX

I have a Rev3 Turbo, slightly tuned (ECU/Intake/Exhaust) it is about 280 Bhp and A LOT of fun:biggrin:
I use it mainly for trackdays and it is fast!!

2 years ago I had 2 MR2's, a '99 Na and a '94 Turbo

The '99 Na left when I bought my first (silver) NSX, which has now been followed up by a red NSX CTSC.

The MR2 Turbo however has remained as it is so much fun.

I looked forever for a rear spoiler like on that black one. Apparently they are only available in Japan and UK. I could bought a knock off version but was really into hard to find OEM equip.

That rear spoiler on my black ('99) MR2 was OE on Rev5 '98 and '99 MR2's all over the world.

I got an MR2 in 1996, enjoyed driving it then. Still enjoy driving it now. Made changes to it throughout the years.
SW20 MR2 NA -> Turbo -> Widebody -> now in the garage collecting dust.
I am in contact with Shaun@ MT buggies, might get a built engine to freshen it up a bit. That is after my NSX's 02 conversion these coming months.

I love those cars! Once in awhile MR2s will come through for sale at the place where I work and I'm always hoping to buy one, but no luck so far because they're usually not in good shape anymore by the time we get them.
