I have two stores, both were flooded(one got 6 inches, the other got 9 feet). Both were looted also. The store that only got 6 inches of water got looted TWICE for good measure  I have been working like crazy rebuilding and you would be amazed at what the store looks like now. I am a little worker bee for sure  We are still working under a 5pm curfew and although power is restored to most places, the area where my remaining store is, was heavily damaged and isnt very secure, so I have been carrying all of my inventory in my enclosed trailer home everyday. :frown: Though my store looks like Bosnia, my business is amazingly busy! We now except cash, visa, M/C and FEMA  I'll let you know how good my insurance coverage is in a few weeks.

Im glad things are looking up.

I would guess that everyone there will be getting new cars and needing alarms and stuff in the next few weeks. Looks like your gonna be real busy.

Nice to know that you still have a good sense of humor.
If you use FEMA, you might have to wait a couple of days before approval.
Good luck with the re-building.

wow.... well i hope all is well, and everything can be taken care of... wish you the best in hard times....

Wow, thats unbeleivale. I'm glad to see you don't sit down, but pick it up and put even more hard work into it.
Hope the insurrance will pay all damage.

I wish you good business.

You say that like it's a bad thing. You know the people who stole your stuff needed it to survive. They were left with nothing and they need a set of 12 inch subs to survive.

Hi

It is amazing how a set of bling rims can help you when you are to your waist in water :)

Seriously read your other post too. Good that things did not go much worse than it did for you and those close to you. And I am glad that the NSX is okey too.

Just terrible to see the damage, but what shocked me most was the way some people reacted with looting and stuff like that.

Regards

Hopefully all will turn well. Maybe if you can post up your rebuild of your store. Not only that if you ever had ay ideas...like major ones, you can do them now.

Best wishes to you and good luck with everything. Katrina was devastating for the whole nation and we are all behind you.

Um not to be cap't obvious or anything but the before and after pictures are not of the same room.. That is unless Katrina came in, remodeled the walls, lowered the ceiling, installed a new false ceiling and changed the lights...

Sorry you had me rolling on the ground for a while.

To the OP: sorry about your loss. Hope you recover.

I hope every last person that looted your store drowned by virtue of the weight of the subwoofers they stole.

Good luck to you, sir.

I dont have a pic of the same room downloaded yet, but I can assure you, it did not look any better.

Smite, if your are doubting my pictures authenticity, then how about another angle of the same room as the second pic. Notice the Sound Solutions logo on the door. There is no product left b/c it was looted

or the install bay that two customer cars floated to the corner

or my wife's parents road and driveway. Note the street sign on the left and boat in the street on the right along with most of the neighbors house

or her sister's kitchen

I could go on and on as almost everyone I know lost most everything they have :frown: I was a fortunate one.

That's pretty insensitive of you. Here we have a known member of Prime and when he shows us the destruction of his business, which is ultimately his livelihood, you go ahead and question his authenticity. Maybe next time you should write "I don't believe a thing you stated because the pictures clearly don't match." You'd make a great insurance investigator at the same time. Shesh, people like you really make me mad. Maybe next time it'll be you and your family who suffer such an extreme loss.

Btw SNDSOUL, having gone through a few hurricanes myself, albeit without the extent of damage to my home and office, I hope that you can get back on your feet quickly. It's amazing how much damage water can do and it's ability to move things around that weigh tons.

Good luck in your recovery efforts.

Um, not to be cap't obvious or anything but I think many of us noticed that, but only one of us was idiotic to mention it.
Glad I kept my mouth shut for once

smite your a Troll, go away!

Brett that sucks, let me know if I can help in any way. :frown:
Keep your sprits up and ignore the looters / haters.

I don't think it was idiotic to mention the difference in rooms. (Not knowing SNDSOUL had two stores, I was going to ask the same question about the difference in the rooms out of curiosity until I saw smites post.)
I don't think it is expected that all 9,685 members of Prime know SNDSOUL as a respected member nor that he has more than one store.
Smite only mentions the rooms were different, not that the damage wasn't authentic.

The destruction caused by Katrina and later by looters is terrible and I wish that SNDSOUL and everyone affected by Katrina can rebuild or relocate and get some order and sanity back into their lives as soon as possible...
