I thought I would share a few picture from our recent trip to Asia. I could have posted more but took over 600 hundred so couldn't post them all. We spent a few days in Singapore then went on an 11 day cruise to Hong Kong, Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Taipei, Nagasaki and Tokyo. A cool thing about the trip is that we flew out of Canada traveling East and came back from the west so we literally went around the world. I only wish I could have seen all of it:smile:. I apologize for the low quality Iphone pictures. I will be buying a real camera before my next trip:wink:.

It's the Marina Bay Sands. It is quite expensive and we normally don't stay in expensive hotels but since we were only there for 2 nights we decided to go for it. I have no regrets. Here is a night time pic

What is the name of this tour/cruise? Who runs it?

It was Royal Caribbean. Only thing that we were disappointed with was the fact that it was a old ship. Probably didn't help that we just came out of a very fancy Hotel. The boat was the Voyager of the seas and it's actually being refurbish later this year. So if you only go next year it should be new. There are also other cruise lines that do this area and I believe Royal Caribbean has more than one boat in this area. We were on an 11 day cruise. I saw one the other day that was 17 nights. Don't remember which cruise line it was. For me I believe cruises is the best way to see the world. My 2 prior vacations were in Europe. The first by land and the second by cruise and I find it much better by cruise.

I was hoping to make it out to Tokyo, HK, and Singapore this year. I've heard great things about Singapore.

Singapore is a great city, very beautiful. I read somewhere before going that it's know as the cleanest and safest city in the world and after visiting I think they're right. I would definitely recommend anybody going to Asia to make Singapore a stop. And for anybody into racing I bet that the F1 race at night on the street circuit would be a great thing to see. Hopefully I get to go back one day for the race.
