pic request: RPF1 17/18 set-up

Front: 17x8 +45 wrapped in 215/40/17
Rear: 18x10 +38 wrapped in 265/35/18

Only 5k on SOS clutch and this happens = POS

wow the drop looks amazing on 17/18, i need to do work on my coilovers! did you happen to keep your fender liner with it that low? and also how the hell you get your car on the bed of that truck?

I've always liked these wheels,If I were to replace my ssr's for track i would do the 17/7.0 at 45,the 7.5 at 48 might be cutting the inner wheel well too close for a 235 40,and the 17/10 at 45,although maybe the 9.5 at 38 might make it with a 275/40.

Are you sure you want to do that? Every 235/40/17 tire I've seen has a minimum rim width requirement of 8"...

If it were me for the track, I'd get the 17x8 +45, and 18x9.5 +38.
For the street only, I'd get the 17x8 +35, 18x10 +38

Here is my setup:

Champ white RPF1's in 17x8+35 and 18x10+38. I have 5mm spacers in the front and 15mm spacers in the rear which makes the offsets a +30 and +23.

I may be open to selling them. PM me.

Where is a good place to buy these? I'm interested in the same exact setup as the blue car in this thread, and Dali sells it but I'm honestly weary of doing business with them with all I've read.

bump...I'll let anyone who cares know how a set of these fits with 17/8 235/40/17 and 18/9.5 275/35/18 ra1's both 45 et...might need a 3mm spacer up front...we will see.

sadly the rear has a very flat spoke design so it needs a 10mm spacer to just clear the calipers:frown: anyone know how tire rack will handle this? I'm thinking maybe try the 38 et and use a 5 mm spacer with that..thoughts.

i run a 9.5 +38 with a 265 tire. Needed a 3mm spacer to clear

btw,,what kind of car on this earth are these wheels meant to fit? the brakes have to be nearly inboard to fit without a spacer due to the flat spoke angle.

yeah I wish I did more research as well since I'm not a fan of using spacers. No one that listed the specs I purchased mentioned anything about needing spacers. Oh well live and learn.

That stance looks good. How is your clearance up hill, down hill and over speed bumps?

Any update on this guys? I'm looking for some track wheels and these seem like good ones but the fronts I'm afraid of since the clearance is the issue.

It's either these or wedssport 105n's I think.

In my case i have a front bbk but it was designed to fit in the oem 16 inch wheel by comptech.However to my eye there is a lot of extra spoke clearance with the rpf1 in 17/8 at 45 et.The rear 18 inch was where I had the brake issues....with the 9.5 I need at least a et of 35 which they don't make so I had to go with the 38 and use a 5mm spacer.Fender clearance is ok at the back.The Ra1 at 235 in front has just torn the liner,but only on the underside out of sight.
