Hey guys,
Thinking about having my rims painted, and just wanted to see if I could get some ideas and if someone could do a photoshop for me.
I have the HP Evo's and was thinking about painting them gold and leaving the lip polished/silver. Can someone do a photoshop of this for me? Has anyone done this before? I know lots of people have them in black with polished lip, and that was my original idea, but I would like to see what it looks like in gold.
Here is a pic of my car, as well as the shade of gold I had in mind.
Please, any ideas are welcome and if anyone has another shade of gold that would look good, let me know!
Thanks!

I thought about doing the same exact thing when I had my HP's(w/polished lips). I don't think it's been done before.
Do you think that color gold would look good on those wheels? I am not very good with color choice :) My wife still has to keep me from putting on my brown belt and black shoes

I like gold with silver lips..like the BBS LM's in gold.. Maybe someone can photoshop your car to see how it will look. I don't know how well the gold will go with your yellow brake calipers though.

The problem you will have is with the fake rivets. If you paint the center mesh you will also have to paint the rivets. If the shop can some how mask/tape off the rivets so that it's still polished then it'll look good with the gold. If not, then it'll still look good with it painted but IMO would stand out more if it wasn't.

FYI...I believe HP makes the wheel in gold, you just have to order it in that color.

Thats a good idea! I think he will be able to do that. The body shop guy did his rims on his Range Rover and they look amazing!

Also, I looked on HP's website and they did not show them in gold. Maybe they discontinued them. If you have a pic, I would love to see it!

Fake rivets are pressed in. If you can figure out how to remove them that would be the way to go. Then pop em back in after paint.
