After having a long and emotional weekend where my pooch was rushed to the hospital for emergency heart surgery and implantation of a pacemaker, I figured I might as well post some "before and after" photos now that she is back home and sleeping in my lap at the moment.

I am glad to hear she is doing better :)

This thread has to live on as it is one of my favorites. Lunchbox is such a cool name for a puppy.

Here are my 3 girls. Taken yesterday.

Here's me and my two-year old English Bulldog "Otis" proving the old axiom that pets and their owners really do look alike.

Here's another photo of Otis holding court in our backyard after a long afternoon of taking a walk at the harbor and getting belly scratches. Tough life.

I love Bulldogs. Had quite a few at home when I was a kid.
Slobbering, snot shooting tanks that can knock your legs out from under you without even trying.

You forgot to mention the snoring and farting.

But they're very gentle, very loyal, and extremely loving dogs. There isn't a day that goes by that Otis doesn't make me laugh out loud at least once. He's a great dog.

My pet. I miss him. Don't you just adore his heart shape nose. BTW his name is Lassie. That's his birthday date in the photo.

I was decorating the tree a few nights ago and turned my back for just a moment so Rocky & Turbo decided to move in and claim it as theirs.

Yeah, he gets shaved about every 4 months, most recently a couple weeks ago. I think he looks retarded without his hair but apperance aside, everyone (including the cat) is happier this way. I'll dig up a picture of him in 'full fur' later and post it. He's quite the hairy critter.
