Not sure what the laws regarding plates are in Australia, but I would guess that perhaps an NSX owner might be interested in acquiring these:

Nice one!

Victoria is the same as New South Wales, you need to have a car to register in Victoria to put the plates on.

Secondly there is a annual fee to pay to keep the plates (over and above the normal rego costs).

If you don't have a car to register, or pay the annual you forfeit the plates.

But good for someone who wants private plates and lives in Victoria...

Thanks for posting Josh!

It would be cool to buy these as a collectors item.....I wonder how long it would take to ship them to the United States??

hahaha in Vic we dont have to pay additional fees or anything.

Just the initial cost to buy the plate around $500 then you can have them on as long as u want and even transfer between cars when u sell. i got offered $2k for my NSXXX.

Thanks Dippy for clearing that up for me. I thought you Victorian's were the same as NSW.

Me, I keep mine registered in Qld where there is a once off purchase price and then you own the plates and you don't even have to put them on a car! You have them for life!

Ha Ha ha .......it's now mine....$150

Congratulations!

Glad to see they went to a good home.... Here in Sydney, NSX owners do not bid against each other... I see you guys in Melbourne show the same respect!

Very crapped off......seller has not contacted me despite repeated emails. What do I do? It's been over a week and I have a bad feeling this guy will ignore me and hope I will just go away.....I bid in good faith,I expect the seller to honour his part in the process.....any (legal) thoughts?

:( You're not having much luck lately. :( I don't use eBay, but i think you can report the seller to eBay. Not sure what happens from there.

Trying to make some humour out of a bad situation: Find out where the guy lives, then drive around in your NSX and do your Mr.Wolf impersonation. ;) :D You'll probably get your $150 back.
