Parts numbers and photos !! (Lot's of photos)

Hi guys,

Mods, i'm posting this stuff in this forum but if it should be in any other place, please feel free to move it.

The purpose of this thread is to do a kind of DB of the parts that i buy and detail them out for future reference. Very few of them are not for me (i'll point which) but, NSX related, so they will be here.

I'll create 3 posts in this thread just next to this one.. they are 3 because i divided the parts in 3 sections... Non OEM, OEM and NSX-R.

The 3 posts will be updated whenever i buy, or a friend do, a part.

Hope that you like and that this is good information to you all.

So the posts won't be huge in the future, i'll do a v2 of them with a thumbnail linking for the big photo (the big photos will be the same). The big photo are in 1024x768 and the thumbnails are in 102x77, only 10% of original size.

I like the idea for Type-R and aftermarket parts that just are not documented very good.

As for OEM parts, why not just extend some of the existing OEM parts databases?

Great idea. I would like to suggest you do this as a wiki entry instead of a message forum thread. That way you can update it easily (just number the parts on the photos and list the part numbers's and names as text in the article), anyone else can add missing part numbers or names, and it can be linked to a main part number article.

Yes, I realize that. My deal is that you should augment an *existing* database, not create a wholly new one and multiply the number of places to search. If you want your system to be used, you'll have to make it quite easy....otherwise you are in danger of being a short lived novelty.


I too second the idea that you should make a wiki entry too. A lot easier to format, collaborate and search.

I like this idea that we can keep oddball part numbers all in the same place. NSX-S, Szero, R, Japanese/Euro parts, etc.

Honda "H" blades silver center caps are 77732-SL0-P00ZB. Japanese market only.

so the wiki is independent of any host i have...i uploaded all the photos to my Prime Gallery. I'll update this thread in the next couple of days.

i would love to, but i cannot edit those first posts to add parts... and creating new posts or topics with all of them isn't very smart.

it's all in the wiki, i've got to add them up there (though i don't like the wiki thing)

After years of trying I am still unable to find a place to find part pictures and corisponding part numbers. I have tried Del-Ray, etc, etc, etc and no luck. I may be spoiled from working at Honda motorcycle shops most of my youth where you looked in a book or a cd and it was there without jumping through 12 hoops and standing on your head only to find, "No Image Available" or some other stuff not giving the info. If I could purchase a parts book or cd it would already be done and no bitching. Will anyone help, Please.

Just to add to the thread:

An NA1 GPW Honda Nose badge is part number 75700-SL0-000ZJ
The Blades Silver Honda H center caps are part number 44732-SL0-P00ZB

Pics of both, and I edited the Wiki to create another section (non USDM, Non R). I couldn't figure out how to link pictures. Feel free to re-organize it if it makes more sense. I couldn't figure out where type S parts, JDM only parts, etc went. So, I created a section.
