Parts availability

I think most parts are still available. The accessories are just about gone from every every place that I've looked but SOS and others have good alternatives and sometimes have stock of discontinued items. I wouldn't let parts availability stop your purchase :)

Some parts are not available anymore i.e. 2001 and under trunk lid (mine was a 95) and it was not an issue as the 2002 is the same part and I just needed to buy the trunk lip spoiler which adds to the look :>)

I just finished going through my 1991 and every part I needed(including some obscure parts) were still available directly from Acura.

The parts may be different for certain years, but they no longer make a trunk lid for a 1995 - discontinued indefinitely..........save what you have :>)

I FEEL that there are enough units (#s of cars) and enthusiasts that the aftermarket will pick-up the slack as the parts dwindle.

I keep go back and fourth between getting an NSX and a Classic 911 to have a classic sportscar. My concern with the NSX is parts availability. How is it now and is there concern in the future?

Thanks,

Robb

I think the hardest things to source in the future will be the special rubber body seals and gaskets like the door and targa seals. Nothing can stop them disintegrating over time and you can't just machine or remanufacture them.
