I am looking at buying a 1991-1992 NSX...have owned and driven all of my corvettes year round...and I live in Calgary - which gets an average amount of snow. I found the corvette to be unreliable and expensive on parts - but fun to drive in the winter. How is a 1991 NSX for parts? Are they very expensive? are they hard to come by? If and when the engine dies...is it insanely priced - that is - does it run about $8,000.00? I make $75,000 a year and want a car that I can drive year round - as you never know how long you have on this planet - also...how is the automatic model...is the transmission strong and reliable?

Thanks for reading

Parts and service are not cheap on the NSX. Considering you want a 91. It will be more reliable than the Corvette, but agian, that will be subjective depend on the condition of the NSX you buy.

Good luck

Look in the States for a good one. Don't buy in Canada, you're paying way more for the same car.

Mine's been fine, not too expensive, and I make much less money than you. There's a few Calgary owners here to chime in as well.
