Update...

My 2002 Imola NSX has arrived into Dubai but is still sitting on the container ship in the Port of Jebel Ali.

There is massive Port congestion at Jebel Ali at the moment so it will take 3-4 business days in order for the container to be offloaded and run thru UAE Customs. Once that happens the car is all mine.

I predict next week I'll be able to post pictures up with the new wheels, exhaust, and suspension. The car will be my daily driver for quite a while as I'm definately going thru NSX withdrawl!!!

Stay tuned...

Congrats, my friend. Glad to hear it is there safely. I do not know what I would do without mine. It is like my best friend.

pics, or it didn't happen...

Im exited for you

I haven't been a member here long but remember that one of the first posts I read was about you waiting for that car. Seems like it's has been forever, glad it's almost there.

Thanks for the warm wishes guys! I bought the car end of June so yes, its been quite a wait let me tell you!

The car won't be ready until early next week I believe. Now what happens:

1. Ship berthed and it will take 2 days to offload.
2. Shipping company receives Bill of Lading (1 day)
3. Shipping company requests the container to be shifted to Customs Inspection Facility (2 -3 days due to backlog)
4. Car is inspected and cleared thru customs (1 hour)
5. Cameron gets to take the car home after registering it

I'm not getting my hopes up for this week but hopefully on the weekend or early next week I can shower NSX Prime with photos!

I'm so excited you can't imagine! I'm definately parking my SRT8 and driving the NSX for a couple of months as the weather is starting to cool and just in time for Targa off action!

We have a car meet happening on the 26th and I'm praying that the NSX is ready as we'll have most of the Dubai NSX's there plus lots of other cars.

Cameron

Before you can fully enjoy the Targa off action, you MUST install some kind of Chassis Reinforcement Bar. I installed the attach photo set here and the improvement is GREAT.

You forgot one more.

6. Fill car up with gas.

Make sure you take loads of pics of the car while it is 100% stock.

Shouldn't this be moved to the Prospective Owner forum? You haven't physically taken delivery of the car, so technically you aren't an owner.

Damn Cameron! I could NOT have waited so patiently like you have... you have nerves of steel!

LOL! Trust me, he's only being patient because he has to. Keep watching this thread in the next day or two.

Woo hoo! Dang, Cameron, this has been a long wait. You've definitely got to post pictures! I'll bet the orange color is going to make that car a HUGE attention-grabber over there.

Chuck - you bet it will! I don't know what's happening here in Dubai but alot of people have suddenly opened their eyes to NSX ownership so it will be interesting to see what reaction it will receive.

Arafaat enjoys tons of attention in your ex-91. Even when we had it at Honda for the A/C evaporator change some guy approached him and asked if its for sale. I think he's had 3 or 4 offers already and its only been 2 months of ownership for him?!?!

We have a car meet happening on Friday September 26th and there will be at least 5 NSX's there...I'll post up pictures.

So its Friday at 8pm here in Dubai and tomorrow morning I get my Imola. Do you think I'll sleep tonight? NO!

Sucks that you took one of the few USA imola cars out of the country, never to be seen again....

Its time:biggrin:

Really excited for you ; can't wait to see the pictures! good luck!
