Palomar Run- Sun. July 23!!!

Time for another Palomar Run...same time and meeting spot as usual....
time(9 am) and place (Starbucks/Del Taco parking lot on the corner of Hwy79 south and Pechanga Pkwy in Temecula)...

Great chance for those who missed out on the Prime Drive to have some fun on some beautiful back country roads and some mountain twisties with fellow NSXers...
It's FREE(except for the gas you'll burn) and FUN...All NSX'ers and friends are welcome...

Bummer I actually wanted to make at least one NSX event this year...so far....zippo for me. :frown: I'd go to this but I will be in Colorado attending the Pike's Peak Hill Climb/Rally. Hope you guys have a good safe drive. :smile:

don't worry, we have been trying to do these runs at least once a month...we'll see you in Aug

c'mon all you show queens(posers)...don't be scared!!! If 20+ show up to stand around in a parking lot, looking at your cars, it would be nice to get at least 10+ to show up and actaully drive your cars.

no problem...the meeting spot is at the Starbucks/Del Taco parking lot off the 79 south in south Temecula..about a mile east of the 15 frwy just past Pechanga Pkwy...we are usually to the top of Palomar Mtn by 11:00 am, from there you can continue the drive or bail out and head home if you are short on time...It's up to you how long of a drive you want to do...If you do the whole drive it will end up where it started at about 1 pm.....

No, that is not the meeting place for tomorrow. That is about 45 min south of where you need to be.

I'm never been to the other meeting spot myself, but since no one has replied back to you I'll see if I can help.

another awesome run today!!! These cars were made for the roads we were on today...grinning from ear to ear through the twisties:biggrin:

I thought we were going to get a CHP escort up Palomar, but he knew he would be holding us up and let us go ahead :tongue: :smile:


good to meet some new faces and see some old ones again...thanks to those who made it out...hope you had as much fun as I did....

Big Thanks to Onsoku for flashing headlights on the way back...there was CHP waiting on the side with radar. I would have gotten nabbed for sure.

Tell me about the trailing CHP. He was in my rearview mirror the whole time. That is what I get for bringing up the rear.

I saw the same CHP cruser on the way home. My radar dector went off the charts about a 1/4 mile away, and then I saw him/her (you never know).

Anyawy, thanks to all of you for you great hospitality. However, I need to practice more or get lessons so that I'm not holding you guys up so much. I'm still getting use to my car, and the auto is just not as quick! I would have been in real trouble if my auto did not come with the sports shifter, otherwise I would have swarmed all over the road.
