Painted valve cover

I had some free time so I decided to paint my intake manifold/valve covers using VHT SP204 red wrinkle finish. (LOL my $7.99 U-Haul moving box paint booth )

Also took the Acura sticker off of center tail light

yeah - shook the can for good 10 mins before the first coat, then applied heat for 10 mins - repeat 4 times. Overall, mine came out really good. Did yours not come out okay ?
 
It came out pretty well, although in some areas the texture was a bit inconsistent.. I put on a single thick coat and then used a heat gun at 600C. If I had it to do again, I would have done it in an oven for a couple of hours. We have an old beat up oven for powder-coating and whatnot but I didn't feel like taking the time to get it working again. That probably would have given more uniform texture.
