Paint or not to paint

getting mine back on Tuesday... CF w/ duct exposed

If you want to leave it black, then paint the roof black and 90% of the headlights black (so there is a smooth transition line from headlights to hood).

JMHO

Please post pics! I want to see what mine's going to look like when I do this, too.

Here you go .... CF exposed duct and Dodge Sprinter (Mercedes Benz) Washer Nozzles on the wiper arms.

Paint the hood, otherwise paint the roof black and get and R spoiler for even out the contrast. But not my car...so do what "you" want and like.

Don't paint, match up rest of the body to the hood.

Exposed carbon fibre parts always look a little bit on the ricey side i.e. like an ugly modded civic.

The NSX is a very classy vehicle and would do well with a nice, quality coat of paint from a trusted auto body shop. Look for one that's extremely clean - that's a better sign of a quality shop than anything else.

are you saying that all cars with exposed carbon fiber are RICEY?

My neighbor has a Maserati with a FACTORY exposed carbon fiber trunk lid tail.
be careful with your words...it is sometimes hard to respect the way others think, but yet here we are...

life can be a double edge sword, cuts both ways

Or... it could mean they are slow or have no work.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Well Thanks for all the advice, I decided to paint the entire hood. <br>

Looks good, only I would have the Body shop shoot complete front panels including the front fenders at the same time, so they match the front bumper cover which is slightly lighter shade red than the fenders.
