First, there is the courting phase in which you are passionately courting a car. Then there is the honeymoon phase where you are having tons of fun with the car. After the honeymoon phase, there is a slight lull. How do you guys get back to the original honeymoon phase? Or, does it even matter as it's just a car?

Slightly encourage the car to lose weight and perform better and often. (mods)

Owning an NSX is a lot easier than being married. Hence the reason why I still have an NSX and not a wife.

beg to differ...
i'm usually not saying " get off my ass" to my beloved nsx...

this thread may get white hot...

Put new wheels and suspension on it....then you'll be even more happy.

Just like marriage, go to a plastic surgeon and get a facelift and boob implants. In other words, go widebody and stick a turbo or supercharger in her. That'll get you juiced again.

Get a turbo... Like: loosing weight and implants

Holy crap you beat me to the punch! by 1 minute!

Don't drive your NSX for a month. The honeymoon phase will come back when you start driving your NSX again. Having 4 kids and a wife regulates my NSX outings (do they make rumble seats for the NSX? ); therefore, every time I drive my NSX, it seems like the honeymoon phase. You can't miss your NSX until you are away from it. Then you really appreciate the NSX when your are driving it.

lol

I installed, gears, rear end, headers, new seats and a new clutch. I LOVE the car again...but then again, I don't think I ever stopped in the first place. Maybe you married the wrong chick...errr, car?

(It also helps to have multiple cars in your garage...a good daily driver that you can swap every year or so will keep your NSX from getting boring.)

Contemplate buying a Viper or a Z06, maybe even test drive one, the guilt will make you go running back to your X..... With me, I got new rims, and I found myself walking into the garage just to admire the X again. After 8 years of owning an NSX, I still have the interest just to go and take a peak and smile. I am sure I will get slightly bored in a few years and get her a boob job..... errr supercharger.

ROFL!!

I can agree to a certain extent: you never now when she will decide to act up, make problems and is always a potentional money pit either wanting upgrades or maintanance:biggrin:

Do your wives/gf's ever get jealous? :D

Yeah this is starting to be a problem for me.

I don't know Sang, I drive mine on weekends only and.... look its Friday now at 5 and I am DYING to get out of here and go get her out of the garage. For me driving that car is still very intense...

Maybe you need a GT-One exhaust... hehe

Who's Sang? I'm Gary... :D

But I'm starting to feel the same way... it's just after 2PM on Friday and I can't wait to take her out for a date tonight... :D Fully stock, an NSX is still a joy to drive... but add a S/C, etc... and it's just plain intoxicating...

You know we have left ourselves open to some goofball coming on here and telling us we are bored because the cars are silver and not that exciting LBBP, right? Nice going Sang!

Hehe, LBBP owners need not post here. In fact, they are forbidden from posting on this thread!! Did you hear that Comtec and Wingz!
