Okay i'm back from 3 straight race weekends.
L8apex:
So you are running 205/50-15f and 225/50-16r tires correct?
You said they were Avon "race" tires. Can you tell me exactly what model tire you were running on?
Finally, what spring/shock setup are you running? Do you happen to know the spring rates?
It sounds in general that you have the front of the car pretty stiff with the shock/aftermarket swaybar. It also sounds like you have a pretty soft rear end in attempt to allow the car to squat and get more grip when you apply throttle.
My first question would be: does the rear of the car roll alot compared to the front? With all of the above listed tying the front of the car down, and the rear being that soft, does it feel like the rear of the car is rolling around more than the front?
I would try lower tire pressures in the rear. Depending on what tire you are running on, if youre coming in at 35f/37r, try going down to 32psi rear.
It sounds like your LSD is working, as you said, if it wasn't, you would get a 'one-tire-fire' and it would understeer.
With what I know at the moment, it sounds like the stock rear tires can't take the track abuse especially with the upgraded suspension.
FWIW, back when my car had the stock 205f/225r tires on it, I could get oversteer easily, even at turn in -on freeway off&onramps. That stock setup had way too much oversteer, but it also had it an turn-in as well as exit, which you were not having problems with at turn-in (possibly because of your aftermarket setup, the front of the car had more platform and was stiffer to prevent that oversteer).
