That may be the problem -Hot, depending upon your local. Aside from that all black is a little to much "gangsta" for me. But I do love the CLS. My taste would be white with tan or silver with red leather.
You make a good point. Black on Black might not be good if it's parked outside in the sun.
And c'mon Cairo, we all know you are a P-I-M-P, so the "gansta" look suits you. Ha, just messing with you. For black on black, I was thinking more along the lines of a personal limo thats fast.
Just make sure you have a factory warranty with either the Mas or any MB or you will be screwed. They use highly suspect electronics and they are expensive to fix. Personally I prefer the QP over the other two, it is a REALLY stylish, rare, 4 door. It has some flavor, much more so than German. I am not tralking out my butt, I have owned MB before and well.... thank God for the warranty.
I would add an S8 into the mix if its not too big for you, the interior is spectacular. Again... get a warranty.
There is nothing Japanese with any sort of flavor like what you are looking for so you have no choice except German/Italian. Both tank heavily on price so a used one is the way to go for sure, but they will continue to tank at the same rate.
Like I said my first choice if you find one is a QP with warranty. They are amazing. If you want to make a "statement", you go Italian. You can't beat this craftsmanship
Been poking around the MB forums to see if I can find out more about the electrical problems, but Im not finding much. Im liking the CLS with the red interior
There is very little out there in terms of owner feedback and information on the QP, quite disappointing. maseratilife.com is all GT speak.
I also never thought Id consider an Audi, but the rs4 is sharp.
well, my parents have both owned mercedes for quite some time now, they bought the second one is 97 or 98(sl500) cant remeber which year they bought the 300e probably 5 years before that though, and then an e420 in 2001/2002ish, and all of these cars get MILES put on them and as far as $$ that goes in to fixing them, if you are confident with your own abilities for basic repairs like oil pan gaskets, and putting a little elbow grease into fixing a window switch every now and again you wont have to worry too much about the repair costs(my parents drive the cars over an hour away to pay the dealer probably 100-150/hr) so thats why its expensive but nothing too serious ever goes wrong, the last thing was the e420 sunroof came off the rail or something, go figure for a 11 year old car
the e420/sl500 are 90's cars though, and as far as mechanical problems the biggest one im aware of is a handful of people with 600+rwhp launcing their e55's on slicks eventualy tearing out the rear subframe/blowing the diff or something along those lines, and the abc suspension in earlier models 00-02ish? going bad and they are expensive to fix
