one headlight on

I have one headlight on and both highbeams light but very dim even though I don't have highbeams switched on (SOS HID kit is in use). Bulb, switch, short, or do I smell a rat? HID kit has been in use for four years with no problems until now. No visible wiring issues. Any ideas on where to start?

I would drop Chris at SOS an e-mail and see if he has had any similar problems with the HID installation. Does the aftermarket HID system connect into the HI beam lights, or just the LOW beam?
